Todd Hunt is an experienced trial lawyer and commercial and OSHA litigator with significant first chair jury and bench trial experience formally associated with two nationally respected law firms. He contributes highly efficient and creative work product and first chair capabilities in all aspects of safety counseling, commercial civil litigation and administrative proceedings. Todd possesses strong communication skills and is very relatable and has a “client friendly” demeanor and attitude. Todd is a proven manager and effective team member; he is able to respond quickly and accurately to evolving circumstances and client needs while maintaining a commitment to integrity. Over the years, Todd’s practice focused in areas of products liability litigation, manufacturing & materials safety (including “Proposition 65”), trade secrets misappropriation actions, OSHA appeals and counseling, and consumer civil rights claims with significant class action experience. Career Highlights: Lead trial counsel in numerous civil jury trials; successfully litigated Cal/OSHA “sliding iron gate” fatality to complete defense decision; obtained multiple “million dollar” settlements in breach of contract actions; negotiated settlement of “unsettleable” trade secrets action for international staffing firm; second-chaired six-month qui tam jury trial in the Northern District of California; obtained decertification rulings for two civil rights class actions (eight-figure exposure) for Southern California golf course management firm.
